The Deputy Mayor - Andreatta Alessandro

Trento’s Mayor, Mr Pacher, elected in the first round of the municipal elections on May, the 8th, 2005, resigned on 25/09/2008.
He is substituted by the Deputy Mayor, acting as Mayor and with the powers assigned thereto.

COMPETENCES (objectives, responsibilities)
- Urban and territory planning, management of the General Urban Plan and of the Urban Implementation Plans;
- funding for renovation and reclamation works in the town historic centres; acoustic zoning, toponymy; responsibilities relating to the Office for Companies and Citizens (building and commercial authorisations);
- relations with the Azienda Speciale Consorziale Trento-Sopramonte.
Following the resignation submitted by the Mayor, Mr. Alberto Pacher, on 25/09/2008, the Deputy Mayor, in compliance with Art. 18 of the Single Text for Regional Norms on the governing of the Municipalities in the Region No. 3/L of 1.02.2005, assumes all the competences and functions assigned to the Mayor:
- HR: drawing up policies and guidelines for the normative framework regarding employment contracts of personnel in general and individual employees, including salaries; policies regarding personnel organization, recruitment procedures, and qualifications, training and vocational training courses; liaising with the Trade Unions.
- Municipal Police Force: coordinating the activities of the Municipal Police Corps, and general policies regarding this Service; cooperating with the Services responsible for traffic flow, private buildings, the environment, trade, organization and operations of the Municipal Police Corps.
- International relations: city twinning and international solidarity.
- Business planning and tourism: promotional activities in the industrial sector; urban marketing; initiatives in the sectors of agriculture, trades & craftsmanship, marketing and tourism; matters concerning employment and work.
- Urban hygiene: waste processing and disposal plants.
- Communication: institutional communication, municipal information network, Public Relations Office (URP).
- IT system: acquiring and organizing the IT resources.
- Legal Affairs: activities related to the safeguarding the Municipality rights and interests.
